AUCTIONS DATA WEBSITES

i-AUC: (INTERNET AUCTION)

i-Auc is an Auction Data Gathering Website. This company is not an auction itself, but rather collects the data of the auctions going on in Japan and displays them within it’s website. In this sense it is convenient to users that wish to check multiple auctions at the same time. However, to purchase through i-Auc will have increased fees compared to being a direct auction member and purchasing directly from the auction itself.

i-Auc does list vehicles for AUCNET and hold that online auction on Mondays, but AUCNET vehicles are cars located at the yards of AUCNET members. There is not a centralized auction house like the standard auctions in Japan.

i-Auc also lists “One Price” and similar after auction vehicle sales. See below “One Price” section for details.

OTHER AUCTION SERVICES

ONE PRICE AUCTION LISTING: (AKA “ONE CHANCE, ONE CLICK, etc…)

“One Price” and similarly named vehicle listings are services provided by the auction houses to vehicle sellers. Essentially, if a seller lists a car at auction and the bidding does not meet the reserve price the seller does not sell the car. The auctions will encourage the seller to re-list the car in the same auction the following week.

As an added incentive, some auctions provide a “One Price” listing service during the week where the seller can list the car at his/her desired sale price. If the car does not sell during the week it is run again through the auction on the auction day. Sellers can continue to do this until they sell the vehicle or remove it from the auction yard.

t is a promotional method used by auctions to encourage sellers to list vehicles and keep them in the auction until they sell. Prices are often a bit higher than average auction prices, but they give the opportunity to instantly buy the car if you have a customer who needs it immediately.
